Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. You don't need a diagnosis or even to be certain about what you're experiencing—to reach out. We can talk about what's been happening and determine together whether my practice is an appropriate fit.
-
That's okay. OCD doesn't always look the way it's portrayed in popular culture, and intrusive thoughts, rumination, reassurance seeking, avoidance, and compulsions can be difficult to recognize. Part of our early work can involve getting clearer about the patterns you're experiencing.

No, I do not bill insurance directly and am considered an out-of-network provider. Some insurance plans reimburse a portion of therapy costs for out-of-network care. -
Both. I offer telehealth sessions throughout Oregon, as well as limited in-person appointments at my Portland office. Availability for in-person sessions may vary, so feel free to reach out if meeting in person is important to you.

I ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to the full session fee, except in cases of emergency or other circumstances outlined in your informed consent paperwork.
